Trinity Church is God's Episcopal people in Athens.  With God's love and with the direction of the Holy Spirit our mission is to involve everyone in worship, outreach, study and prayer.  Empowered by God's grace, we strive to foster a caring Christian community which supports us in our Baptismal vows:  To seek and serve Christ in all people.

The Episcopal Church is part of the Anglican Communion, a global community of 70 million Anglicans in 31 self-governing churches, 500 dioceses, 30,000 parishes, 64,000 congregations in 164 countries.  The Archbishop of Canterbury is Bishop Justin Welby, whose public ministry began on March 21, 2013. The Episcopal seat is at Canterbury Cathedral.

The Episcopal Church in the United States is a community of 2.5 million members in 120 dioceses in America and abroad, established in 1789.  The Primate is The Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts-Schori. The Episcopal seat is the Washington National Cathedral.

The Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem is a community of 68 congregations in 14 counties of eastern and northeastern Pennsylvania.  The Bishop is The Right Reverend Paul V. Marshall, Bethlehem. The Assisting Bishop is The Right Rev. John P. Croneberger.  The Episcopal seat is Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem,  Pennsylvania.

At long last, Trinity has new front doors and the tracery over the doors has been redone. The original wood framing will be refinished this spring to match. We think they're wonderful!
Pictures were taken on January 22nd, 2012, following Trinity's 170th Annual Meeting. The new outside sign was made by John Strange.
